I have now been the owner of my daycare for four months. I have lost several children due to the current economic state. I'm also currently in the process of graduating with a degree in Adult Education. I'm not sure if I should keep the daycare open after I graduate and continue with college and get my Masters in English; or I could close the daycare and start teaching at a local college. If anyone could give me some advice I would love to hear from you.
This is a good example of a blog I was able to state my issue and stated what I wanted to accomplish. Blogs are good ways to honestly express yourself and ask for help. To enhance the learning environment students will feel free to talk about what is on their mind and give opinions to others.

ReplyDeleteI like that you chose this - you are right, it is a great place to ask for advice, share your own ideas, and if you keep your daycare, it could serve as a great place to have others share what is working for them in their own daycares... ideas you could try too.
I know you have some decisions to make... if you want to do some personal reflection, you can contact the Career Center here on campus and they have free, informative assessments that can either help you look at these decisions from another perspective, or help support what you have always been thinking. You can work with them online and it is all free... I think I mentioned that :) Good luck - you will have to let us know what you decide!

You'll notice as you blog that most people "lurk" and, although they may read your material, don't always post comments. Blogging is a great way to get your word out so keep it up! Wish I could help you out on your decision... all I can say is follow your passion! :)
